TCD studios created the FIRST production studio system that allows actors to audition for ANY project they choose to submit to. Our strict policy is to allow any actor to audition for any role THEY feel they're right for without hearing, "Sorry, you're not right for this" Our in-house producers, directors and casting directors WANT you to read for everything! If you submit, you're getting called in!
TheCastingDirector.com was founded in 2006 as a means to report and expose scams within the entertainment industry. In 2009, TCD re-launched with an additional focus of connecting actors with those that have the power to hire them: casting directors, producers, directors, and credible industry professionals that DO NOT participate in paid casting director workshops.
FREE TRAINING We believe in giving our members the best chance possible at booking all roles they audition for and It's unfortunate that many actors only get to audition once per week, if not once per month. We hold weekly "Mocks" where members can bring in any materials, practice in front of the camera and receive a digital copy of their performance. If you can't afford acting classes, Mocks are the next best thing.
FREE HEADSHOTS Every 4 weeks we host "free headshot day" for our members. Actors will never have to pay for headshots again. By the end of the year, you'll have 12 amazing looks. Headshot day alone is worth the cost of our service.
